Resume HaloShort after camping: note the show and episode
On a lightweight camping trip without your own screen, you use the cabin TV at night and come across a short drama you want to keep watching. Back home, you open HaloShort, but the previous progress doesn't show up. First, sort out one thing: whose device was running the app at the time, and that's where the favorites and progress stay.

Before leaving the cabin, take the title and episode number with you
HaloShort favorites and viewing progress are saved locally. Records on the cabin TV won't automatically become records on the home TV. Before checking out, jot down the title, episode number, and roughly where you stopped; it's easier than hunting by cover color after you get home.
Handle usage traces in whatever way the lodging allows; don't casually reset the entire shared TV just to clear your own records. After returning home, find the corresponding content in the current library, then select the episode you noted; having watched it then doesn't mean the list will stay the same forever.
A new screen doesn't necessarily mean a new device running the app
If you used the same box of your own the whole way and only connected it to different screens, the app is still in that same box. This is different from installing one copy on the cabin TV and another on the home TV. When explaining a resume-playback issue, stating exactly where the app is installed is more accurate than just saying "I switched TVs."
Even if you're still using the same box, check the actual current records; after uninstalling, clearing data, or resetting the device, local favorites and progress aren't guaranteed to be kept. Don't clear data first just to fix one episode number.
If it's not installed at home yet, you can go to the Emotn store and search for HaloShort to check compatibility with Android TV, Google TV, or other Android devices. On a lightweight trip, there's no need to bring a whole entertainment setup; noting down the story you want to watch already leaves an entry point for next time.
